I love Persian cuisine, Today I would like to share with you a delicious recipe for Persian Kebab Torsh. This dish has its origin in the Caspian Sea region of Iran, where the climate lends itself to growing a wide range of produce, fruits and herbs
It tastes amazing because it uses fresh herbs and pomegranate juice or paste. In Persian cooking, the mix of sour and aromatic flavors is like magic, and this dish really brings out that perfect mix.
Persian Kebab Torsh
500g extra-firm tofu, pressed and cubed
1 small onion
4 cloves of garlic
100g walnuts
100 ml of pomegranate molasses
30g coriander
20g mint
2 teaspoons coriander powder
Directions
1. In a food processor process all ingredients , except tofu into a smooth paste 2. Add this marinating mixture to the tofu and stir well. 3. Keep it in the fridge overnight or up to 24 hours. 4. Before cooking preheat the oven to 180C. Thread marinated tofu cubes onto skewers. 5. Bake in the oven for 20-25 min. 6. Serve with salad and brown rice.
